In a clip from The Info Spot that HotNewHipHop shared, Saucy revealed that he and Miami ended up getting into it over the interview. Additionally, he mentioned that he asked her everything and wanted her to get it off her chest, because he went through it all with her.

“Of course that is my [friend]. But, you know I’m going to ask you everything. And you gonna answer as best as you can. And Caresha actually answered everything. Everything that I asked she answered,” Santana said.

The rapper mentioned that Miami has a tendency to overanalyze, which is why certain topics were left out of the interview.

“And especially in that moment, the whole world turned they back against my best friend. So, she was scared to say apple. Everybody had a problem with every m**** f*****g.” Santana continued.

Furthermore, the ex-City Girls rapper shared her reasons for not discussing the accusations and legal actions taken against him.

"I can’t comment on matters that I haven’t personally experienced. I can’t address things I’m unfamiliar with. Regarding these allegations, I can’t provide insight because I wasn’t present during that time. I don’t know that individual, and it’s not something I went through myself."

Shortly after Miami's interview was released on YouTube, Santana took to TikTok to share his reasons for choosing to interview her.

“The reason why I was the interviewer is because its been a real tough time for Caresha behind the scenes and I was there. I feel like I went through it with her. Every day, it was me and her, phone calls, there was times I would get up and go to Miami just to be with her,” Saucy explained.

The rapper known as the 'Material Girl' also stood up for her decision to take time to discuss everything and present her perspective on the situation.

During the Christmas special, he found himself investigating a peculiar incident involving three men who were seemingly shot at the same time with the same firearm. Mervin didn't exactly win over the locals of Saint Marie initially, managing to get on the wrong side of his colleagues, including Naomi (played by Shantol Jackson), who found him difficult to work with, reports the Express. Audiences were offered insight into Mervin's background, discovering that he had traveled to the island to reunite with his mother for the first time. He confided in his boss, Selwyn (played by Don Warrington), which laid the foundation for a developing friendship between them. Unfortunately, it was revealed that Mervin's mother had recently died. In light of this, Selwyn encouraged the detective to extend his visit to Saint Marie, suggesting it might help him feel a deeper connection to his deceased mother. When talking about Mervin's adaptation to life in Saint Marie, Don commented: "For him, everything in Saint Marie contradicts the established norms.
