Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams' daughter Matilda was seen out and about in New York.
The 19-year-old looked like her Dark Knight actor dad as she enjoyed a walk in Brooklyn in the cold January weather on Sunday. She walked alongside a friend and was seen texting on her phone.
Matilda donned a white shirt under a zipped up green puffer jacket and light blue jeans. She accessorized with a red tote bag slung over her shoulder.
Her hair was divided in the center and cascaded down her shoulders in soft waves. She sported a fresh-faced appearance, embracing a no-makeup style.

Matilda's unique photographs are released just a week prior to the anniversary of her father's passing. Heath was discovered deceased on January 22, 2008, in Manhattan's SoHo area. The 28-year-old actor succumbed to a lethal combination of prescription medications.
Heath began his relationship with actress Michelle Williams after they crossed paths in 2004 while filming Brokeback Mountain. The couple welcomed their daughter Matilda a year later but unfortunately parted ways in 2007, just months before his untimely passing.
Michelle has chosen to shield her daughter from public attention, aiming to provide Matilda, who was only two years old when her father passed away, with a typical upbringing. In a 2018 interview with Vanity Fair, the Saltburn actress mentioned that Matilda "hasn’t had her routine interrupted and hasn’t missed any classes."
“[I’m] not as scheduled, not as regulated, not as focused on the hustle,” she mentioned, “I raise Matilda in a way that allows her the freedom to express herself.” Michelle subsequently married Thomas Kail in 2020 and they have two children together.
In a subsequent interview with Variety, Michelle shared how her co-star Jeremy Strong supported Matilda following Heath's passing. "Jeremy had the seriousness to carry the burden of a child's shattered heart, yet he was also attuned to the right way to connect with her through fun, games, and light-heartedness," she noted.
Heath Ledger was awarded an Academy Award posthumously for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight. His family, including his parents and sister, received the award in his honor.
