LOS ANGELES — A day that started out ordinary for Dalyce Kelley and her elderly grandmother turned into a sorrowful tragedy.

Kelley assumed the responsibility of caring for her grandmother, Dalyce Curry, who was an enduring resident of Altadena. In her younger years, Dalyce relocated to Los Angeles with dreams of Hollywood stardom, landing roles in various films.
