Tommy Lee urges musicians to reorient their priorities.

On Jan. 13, the Mötley Crüe drummer, aged 62, voiced his opinion on Instagram regarding musicians self-promoting during the Los Angeles fires crisis.

"I'm appalled by the sheer number of people still posting trivial content on social media!" said Lee. "Frankly, right now, nobody gives a damn about your new album or concert when so many are facing a monumental crisis!"

"I get that humor can be essential, but can we just take a breath and acknowledge those who might need our help?"

Lee's band, Mötley Crüe, addressed the disaster on Facebook on Jan. 9. "Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating fires in Los Angeles, our hometown, during this tough time."

They stated: "We wish safety for you and your loved ones as we stand together to face these challenges."
