MIAMI (WSVN) - A group of gifted young performers has recently become the center of attention for their remarkable performances both on stage and in the stands, garnering attention from high-profile celebrities.

The G-Girls from Miami Northwestern Senior High School graced 'The Today Show' with their presence, surprising the actress Taraji P. Henson with an unexpected visit.

Henson, who was serving as a guest co-host for the program, was unaware that she would have the opportunity to meet the young performers she admires.

Previously, she had shared a clip of the team on Instagram, praising their talents and asserting that their "level of excellence is unparalleled."

The surprise meeting elicited a flurry of emotions as they encountered each other in person.
